About us

Gateway Chapel is Located in the beautiful Ozark mountains in northwest Arkansas. We are a non-denominational church where our mission is Daily Living Christ Filled Life. We do this through a 4 step process of accepting, positioning, initiating, and empowering others to know Christ.

Our goal is to lead our Community, State, Nation, and the World toward a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. We love the opportunity that God has given to us to reach, teach, and keep people for Him.

What we believe and teach at Gateway Chapel:

  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God. - II Timothy 3:16

  • We believe in one God, Maker of all things who eternally exists in Trinity as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. - I John 5:4-7 ; John 1:1-14

  • We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. - I Corinthians 15:3 ; I Peter 2:23-24 ; John 3:16

  • We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. - Romans 3:21-30; Galatians 4:4-7

  • We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. - Matthew 3:11 ; John 14:16,17 ; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38,39; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:1-4

  • We believe healing is for the physical ills of the human body. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member of the Church today. - James 5:14,15; Mark 16:18; Isaiah. 53:4,5; Matthew. 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24

  • We believe baptism in water is by immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. - Matthew 28:19 ; Romans 6:4 ; Colossians 2:12 ; Acts 8:36-39

  • We believe the Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ's return. - Hebrews 12:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23;2 Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Phil. 3:12-14; 1 Corinthians 1:30

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life and those who are lost unto damnation.- John 5:24-29

  • We believe in the eminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. - I Thessalonians 4:18; Revelations 21:20
